Venturi Meter Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-FMP-11286
Quick Answer: The Venturi Meter apparatus has a horizontal Venturi tube, a downstream flow-control valve and manometer tubes held vertically on a panel with a scale for direct reading of the water levels. Students set the flow rate and measure the head at the upstream section and at the throat.

Key Features
- Horizontal Venturi tube with a downstream flow-control valve, so the valve causes no upstream turbulence
- Manometer tubes held vertically on a panel with a scale behind them for direct reading
- Common manifold above the tubes with an air pressure-control valve
- Hand-pump included for adjusting the datum water level through the air valve
- Plastic materials and corrosion-resistant finishes throughout

About This Product
The apparatus shows how a Venturi meter turns a pressure difference into a flow measurement. Students compare the heads at the inlet and throat, note how pressure changes along the rest of the meter, and check their readings against the flow rate they have set.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a hand-pump supplied with the Venturi Meter?
Yes. A hand-pump is included; it connects to the air valve above the manometer tubes to adjust the datum water level.
Why is the flow-control valve fitted downstream of the Venturi?
Because it sits downstream, the valve does not cause any turbulence upstream in the Venturi tube.
